Island Hoppers Helicopter Tours Limited is a Jamaican Company, based at Reynolds Pier Ocho Rios, MBJ Airport, as well as Tinson Pen, Kingston and Falmouth, and was formed in 2004 specifically to fill a need for a professional Helicopter Charter and Tour service in Jamaica.
Island Hoppers pilots are the most qualified and experienced helicopter pilots in Jamaica.
The company is owned by John & Susan Morris, both Jamaican citizens.
Captain John has been a helicopter pilot since 1970 and has flown professionally as a Spray Pilot, Fire Fighter, Patrol Pilot, Aerial Cinematography Pilot, External Load Pilot, Tour Pilot and Charter Pilot and has flown commercially world wide.
He holds Jamaican, U.S.A., and New Zealand Commercial Helicopter Licenses and is also an F.A.A. certified Engine and Airframe Mechanic and holds an F.A.A. Inspection authorization.
Our other pilots are also licensed in several counties with world wide experience.
Island Hoppers currently operates 2 Bell 206B3 Jet Ranger helicopters and one Long Ranger helicopter. They are all US registered Helicopters and strictly maintained under the regulations and oversight of both the Federal Aviation Administration and the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority .
Jamaica Tourist Board approved.
