TRYALL GREAT HOUSE

Description:

The Tyrall Great House is the focal point of the now The Tyrall Club and Villas in Montego Bay. Built in 1834, it is a classic example of Caribbean Great House architecture.
The well-preserved remains of a working 18th-century water wheel and aqueduct are in their original location on the grounds. The plantation’s imposing cast iron cannon that once fired at approaching pirate ships is still in its foreboding position at the base of the Great House.
