HISTORIC CAST IRON BRIDGE (SPANISH TOWN)

As its name implies, the Spanish Town Cast Iron Bridge was built in 1801of cast iron. It extends over the Rio Cobre River and is used for vehicular traffic, but pedestrians also make use of it. The bridge is the oldest of its kind in the Western Hemisphere and though still strong is scheduled for some improvements.
