Apostle Andrew Scott started out as a banker, working with NCB for approximately 6 years. After a few years, he moved into the Insurance area and became an OMNI sales agent. This was just the start of a successful career in Life Insurance, as he subsequently left NCB and commenced working with Crown Eagle Life Insurance Company. Within a short period, he scored big time, becoming a member of the  Century Club by servicing over 100 clients in just under four months in his first year and selling over the required number of policies to be listed amongst those at the Million Dollar Round Table.

His personality and effective interpersonal skills enabled him to start several businesses. It was through his car rental business that he was introduced to Reverend Paul Lewis. Through Rev. Paul’s ministry, the Apostle got saved and began serving on a full time basis.  As he worked with Rev. Paul, he developed in the gifts of prophecy, word of knowledge, healing and miracles. The work in the ministry increased and began to take him overseas, but by now he had identified the “special lady” in his life.  By 1997 he married Dorothy, who was also working assiduously in the same ministry.

He later moved on to serve Dr. Phillip Phinn, head of the Word of Life Ministries International, and became well known in official circles as a Prophet of great discernment and accuracy, with a meek and teachable spirit. While working with Dr. Phinn, he served as Leader of Worship and Teaching sessions in the Office of the Prime Minister, Bank of Jamaica, and other governmental offices and Chaplain at The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Apostle Andrew and his wife Pastor Dorothy were led to start a home bible study group, and then in November 2003 to start a church with a “difference”, known as Greater Works International Fellowship, currently located at the Red Hills Mall, Kingston, Jamaica.  The Apostle’s style of preaching and teaching of the Word can be described as one of clarity and simplicity, practical and down to earth, flavoured with a unique humor.

He has been a speaker at “Christ for the Nations Bible School” and at international conferences held in various countries within the Caribbean, as well as the USA, Canada, and Holland.  Several of the prophecies he has declared over the island of Jamaica have already been fulfilled.

Based on his tremendous achievements and work, he was awarded a Doctorate Degree in Philosophy in April 2006, from Brevard University, USA.  On the twentieth of March 2011, he was ordained to the office of Apostle by Bishop The  Hon. Herro Blair OJ, OD, JP and Bishop Peter Morgan, who are both Jamaicans and Bishop Anthony Hatcher, from Rockledge, Florida. He has also authored two books: “God’s Prescription for Marriage and Relationships” and “Building the Spiritual Man”. Apostle Andrew and Pastor Dorothy are the hosts and main speakers on the daily programme “Walking on the Word”, broadcast on several cable channels, internet TV and internet radio. Apostle Andrew is the father of two sons.
