Higher Ground Assembly is one of the over 23,000 Parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide under the leadership of Pastor E. A. Adeboye, who is the General overseer. The Redeemed Christian Church of God is a Bible believing Christian organization established in 1952 with the aim of propagating the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. RCCG has an appeal to all types of people with different backgrounds, culture or race with a determination to teach people in their various geographical areas, stages of secular life and levels of spiritual development. RCCG, Higher Ground Assembly, Baltimore started on Sunday, October 3, 2004 when the Church had its service in the cafeteria of Deep Creek Middle School, Essex, Maryland.
