Our Beliefs

1.    THE SCRIPTURE INSPIRED

The Bible was written and inspired by God (2 Tim 3:16).

2. THE VIRGIN BIRTH, DEATH, BURIAL & RESURRECTION  OF JESUS

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, crucified, died for our sins and was buried. On the third day, He rose from the dead and then ascended into heaven, where He remains at the right hand of God Almighty. (John 3:16, Acts 1:9)

3. REPENTANCE

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Acts 2:38, Romans 3:23).

4. THE NEW BIRTH

All must be born again (John 3:5).

5. THE ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH

Water Baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and of the Holy Ghost  (Matt 28:19)

The Lord’s Supper with unfermented wine and unleavened bread (Matt 26:26-28) and washing of the Saints’ feet as an act of humility and sign of fellowship (John 13:4-10).

6. SANCTIFICATION

To consecrate ones self wholly to God and His service.  (Rom 12:1-2, Heb 12:14).

7. THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY GHOST & THE EVIDENCE

We believe in the indwelling of, and baptism of, the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:3-4, 19:6).

8. DIVINE HEALING

We believe that Jesus is our Healer and that by His stripes we are healed (Isa 53:5, Ps 103:1-3).

9. THE RAPTURE

The coming of Christ to rapture His saints is ever eminent. (1 Thess 4:16-17)

 

10. THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST

The Second coming of Jesus Christ will be after the judgement of Israel, known as the Great Tribulation period and before the Millennium (Matt 25:31-46, 1 Cor. 11:25-27).

11. THE MILLENNIUM

The church believes that the revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ from heaven, the salvation of the Nation, Israel and the 1000 year reign of Christ on earth, known as the Millennium (2 Thess 1:7, Rev 19:11-14).

12. ETERNAL PUNISHMENT FOR SINNERS

There is an everlasting hell, a place of punishment for all humanity who have rejected Christ, and done despite to the Spirit of grace and have not repented (Ps 9:17, Rev 21:8).

13. FINANCES

Tithes and offerings should be freely given to the local church, which is the place of membership. (Malachi 3:8-10, 1 Cor 9:7-14).

14. THE TRINITY

The church gladly accepts the fact that the Bible emphatically and unequivocally teaches the union of three persons in the Godhead, the Trinity, namely, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, The Holy Ghost, the Comforter. (1 John 5:7-8, Matt 17:5, Acts 7:54-60).
