STORE MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our retail stores at Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay.

The ideal candidate is a confident leader with strong retail experience who can motivate a team, drive sales, maintain high operational standards, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the stores.
• Supervise, motivate and support the retail team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
• Develop staff schedules and ensure appropriate coverage across shifts.
• Coach team members on sales techniques, product knowledge and customer engagement.
• Monitor sales performance and work with the team to achieve established sales targets.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, stock levels, receiving and replenishment.
• Help identify opportunities to improve sales, efficiency and the overall customer experience.
• Ensure company policies, procedures and airport requirements are consistently followed.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, airport personnel and other operational partners as required.
• Provide regular updates and reporting to the Managing Director.

Requirements

• Previous retail management or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Proven ability to coach and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven retail environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and retail/POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.

Experience in airport retail, beauty, wellness, fashion, gifts or locally made products would be an asset.
