Associate Manager Job in Montego Bay – Jamaica Aromatics & The Artisan District

Jamaica Aromatics & The Artisan District are seeking a capable, hands-on Associate Manager with immediate availability to oversee the day-to-day operations of their two retail stores at Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay.

The ideal candidate is organized, confident and personable, with supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for retail sales and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and staff scheduling across both locations.
• Supervise, motivate and support the retail team.
• Participate actively in sales and deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor sales performance and support the team in achieving sales targets.
• Oversee inventory management, merchandising and store presentation.
• Maintain accurate administrative records and prepare regular reports.
• Coordinate with Kingston-based management to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
• Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate confidently with international customers.
• Strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• A sales-oriented approach and enthusiasm for customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and work independently.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
• Experience in tourism-related retail, hospitality or other customer-facing roles within the tourism industry would be an asset.
