A committee was formed in the latter part of the year 1960 to make plans for setting up the school. This committee consisted of some members of the Board of Governors of Meadowbrook High School.Through untiring and dedicated efforts the school became a reality on January 16, 1961 at the home of Mr. Whitmarsh Knight who was twenty-eight at the time. In January 1962, the school’s location was changed to the home of Miss Madge Saunders. A year later the school was moved to its present site at 10 Flemmington Drive. A dedication service was held on January January 14, 1963 and the building was officially opened on February 28 of that same year. The school was an inter-denominational fee paying school for boys and girls between the ages of three years and twelve years. It aims at instilling sound and permanent christian values within each child helping to develop an awareness of the reality of God as well as an understanding of His love for mankind.
