Jamaica Institute of Financial Services offers a wide cadre of local and international facilitators. It offers training programmes both on the open market and tailored for in-house purpose. Along with short term training courses and seminars, the institute offers a number of certification programmes solely for the financial services sector. JIF now offers the Chartered Bank MBA programme from the internationally renowned Business, School of Banking (Bangor University).

SHORT COURSES

We offer a suite of impactful short courses and seminars – ranging in length between half-a-day and five days. This selection is based on insights from an annual survey which identifies the specific training needs of the sector. CERTIFICATION PROGRAMMES

The severe impact of the global financial crisis means that more than ever before, you and your employees need specialised skills to remain competitive. Through our partnerships with the International Compliance Association and the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland, we offer internationally certified diploma and certificate courses which are designed to strengthen critical areas of competence in financial services professionals. These courses vary between 9 and 12 months in duration and are delivered through a combination of face-to-face classes and e-learning.

CHARTERED BANKER MBA

JIFS is pleased to partner with the Bangor Business School and the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Scotland) to offer the Chartered Banker MBA. This unique MBA experience brings together high level skills and knowledge from an internationally recognised University with the competencies of the world’s oldest banking institute. The outcome is a dual award of a top MBA in Banking and Finance and the coveted Chartered Banker status
