Convent of Mercy Academy ‘Alpha’

Mission Statement:

• The mission of the Alpha Academy Alumnae Association (Jamaica) is to build and maintain between the past and current Alpha students, a positive relationship that will help to create a learning environment which is conducive to the nurturing and development of young ladies in Jamaica who can make a positive contribution to our nation.
  This will be achieved through the following:
  • Promoting the interest of the Convent of Mercy Academy and those who attend that institution;
  • Upholding the teachings of the school;
  • Conducting fundraising activities to accumulate financial resources to assist students and special projects at the school;
  • Implementing programmes to maintain a positive image of the school;
  • Providing a vehicle through which individuals and corporations can make contributions to the school;
  • Developing economic and social ideas for the betterment of the student population at the school;
  • Fostering the development of educational and extracurricular resources at CMA.
