Clients also have easy access to nursing care and repeat services such as wound care, catheter changes or blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring.The Centre offers a wide range of point of care blood tests therefore our patients are able to receive blood test results in as little as 5 minutes.We focus on completeness of care with convenience as a foremost consideration. For example, a patient who has a fall may visit the Centre at 10: 00 p.m. This patient at the time of their visit can receive stitches, a temporary cast, crutches, sling, receive X-ray results, medication to relieve pain, a tetanus shot, blood tests and referral letter/s by the end of the visit. We also arrange specialist visits for further management of any condition as required so that patients always understand their options and next steps in dealing with a condition.Our wellness programme focuses on prevention of Non- Communicable Diseases (such as Diabetes, Heart disease, Cancer) and early detection. Our aim is to educate and improve quality of life through lifestyle modification, treatment and ongoing support and coaching.The process begins with a health and wellness representative who will help you work through various options and book your appointment. Thereafter you receive your preparation instructions which prepare you for the check-up.On the day of the check-up a health and wellness representative is available as a personal chaperone to assist with registration and ensure your visit runs smoothly. In most cases results are received at the end of the visit.Thereafter we provide recommendations to get or keep you on track and facilitate access to an action plan which suits your lifestyle.
