QUANTITY ESTIMATOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Estimator to prepare accurate construction cost estimates, bills of quantities, material take-offs and related cost documentation for construction, rehabilitation and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Estimate quantities and costs for labour, materials, equipment and transportation.
• Develop and monitor project budgets.
• Assist with tender documents, review quotations and provide cost analysis.
• Track project costs, variations and prepare periodic reports.
• Conduct site visits and take measurements.
• Support the project team to ensure projects are delivered within budget and approved standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction cost estimating or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and market pricing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related estimating software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with contractors, suppliers and project teams.
