One-on-One Support for a Child with Autism

Location: Kingston, Jamaica

We are seeking a reliable, patient, and caring Individual Support Aide to provide one-on-one support to a child with autism.

What We’re Looking For

• Must reside in Kingston
• High School Diploma and relevant High School subjects required
• Early Childhood Certification or experience working with children with Autism is an asset
• Patient, responsible, and dependable
• Comfortable working one-on-one with a child
• Willing to follow the guidance and recommendations of the child’s therapists
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support and supervision
• Assist with implementing strategies provided by the child’s therapists
• Support communication, learning, socialization, and daily activities
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
• Communicate appropriately with parents and therapists regarding the child’s progress and needs
