THE BOARDWALK BISTRO

Description:

The Boardwalk Bistro features an open  Kitchen and large extraction fan to ensure a continuous flow of fresh air during the frying of fresh Banana chips, Saltfish balls and cream cheese Wontons;
Or they may be charbroiling freshly seasoned Chicken quarters, Beef Kebabs or a whole fish;
Or perhaps they are preparing Oxtail, fried fish or Curried Mutton the old fashioned way using traditional Jamaican Dutch Pots.

The Boardwalk Bistro features an open  Kitchen and large extraction fan to ensure a continuous flow of fresh air allowing the frying of whole Snapper, or cream cheese Wontons,  charboiled home seasoned hamburgers and jerked chicken to cook all at the same time without interfering with the guest’s Bistro experience.

The bubbling pots of Oxtail,  Curried Mutton and rice are all cooked the old fashioned way using traditional Jamaican Dutch Pots.

All our recipes are Jamaican be they African, Indian, European, Latino or Eastern reflecting our people and Motto – “Out of Many, One People”.

The Decor has been centered around a continuous 60ft Counter and Bar made from 2″ thick 4 yr old Guango planking. The dining chairs are a unique design and both them and the tables are made from different Jamaican Woods. Bright but warm colours backdrop a series of masks and pictures spanning hundreds of years of African history.
