The Firm of Marvin D. Goodman & Associates has its main office in Kingston, Jamaica.
The Firm provides professional services in the fields of Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture and secures and co-ordinates the services of other professionals as may be required to provide the full range of services for a particular project.

Projects have been completed in the United States, Jamaica, and the Caribbean and include most building types; residential, commercial, educational, health, multi-family housing and resort developments. Planning and Urban Design are also specialties.

The Firm’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Progressive Architecture, MACO, Jamaica Architect and Architecture Caribbean.
The office utilizes the latest CAD technology.
In 1999 the Firm’s principal was awarded a Silver Musgrave Medal by the Institute of Jamaica for “Distinguished Service in the Field of Architecture”.
In 2007 senior Architect Michael Lorde received a Silver Musgrave medal for his achievements in Architecture and Theater Arts.
Mr. Goodman is one of the first five Architects elected by the Jamaican Institute of Architects to its newly created College of Fellows.
In 2006, Mr. Goodman was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.
In 2005, the Firm received an Award of Excellence from the Incorporated Master Builders Association of Jamaica.
Members of the Firm maintain professional registration in the state of Florida and Jamaica.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY

 Energy efficient and Green design is a hallmark of the Firms work. Its office buildings for the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), for example, are the most Energy Efficient office buildings in Jamaica and compare favourably with projects worldwide.

In recognition the firm’s principal has served on several high level Government Committees dealing with Energy Conservation and provided an invited paper at a Caricom conference on Passive Solar and Photo Voltaic.

The Firm’s goal is to provide each client with a well-designed functional facility which fulfills all needs, respects the budget and creates delight.
Social and environmental concerns are reflected in the solutions provided.  Each solution must enhance the environment.
