FARM CARETAKER WANTED

YONDER ESTATE | SAINT THOMAS
FULL-TIME, LIVE-IN POSITION

Seeking a trustworthy, reliable and experienced caretaker to maintain the farm grounds, farmhouse and property.

Key duties:

• Operate the tractor, plough and grass-cutting equipment safely; carry out basic equipment maintenance.
• Cut grass, clear overgrowth and keep grounds, pathways and drains tidy and unobstructed.
• Tend plants and crops, including watering, weeding and pruning.
• Feed and provide water for animals, keep their enclosures clean and report signs of illness.
• Keep the farmhouse clean and maintained; carry out minor repairs and report larger maintenance needs.
• Check gates, fences and the property regularly; secure the farmhouse, tools and equipment.
• Work independently, follow written instructions and promptly report maintenance or security concerns.

Applicants must have relevant farm, horticulture and animal-care experience, be able to read and follow written instructions, and provide contactable references.

Residence on the estate is required. Accommodation and living amenities are provided as part of the employment package.
