JOB OPENING
Shelter Program Coordinator
Organization: Samaritan’s Purse International Relief
Location: Mandeville
The Shelter Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating construction activities within the Shelter Program and ensuring that projects are monitored and executed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction and rehabilitation work across multiple sites.
- Review structural assessments and approved Bills of Quantities before work begins.
- Monitor the performance of construction workers and contractors.
- Verify the quantities of labour and materials used during project implementation.
- Ensure contractor estimates and labour rates are consistent with local market standards.
- Confirm that construction work aligns with approved designs, Bills of Quantities and structural guidance.
Requirements
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Him.
- Diploma in Construction, Engineering or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in the field.
- Experience supervising construction workers or contractors.
- Working knowledge of construction standards and practices.
