The Grange Health Care Facility is situated on the beautiful island of St. Kitts. It is a private organisation, established in 2000. Situated just seven miles from the capital city of Basseterre, it is the first purpose built private health care institution on the island, thus pioneering community-based care for the elderly on St. Kitts.

The objective is to offer high-quality client-oriented care as its main priority. The ambience is serene and tranquil with beautifully landscaped grounds allowing the clients to feel safe whilst at the same time not restricting their mobility or freedom.

The services include Nursing and Residential care, Convalescent care, Day Care facilities for seniors, Rehabilitation, and Complementary therapies, arranged care services for visitors to the island, facilitating training of nurses and care assistants.

For prospective clients living locally, a preadmission assessment in the home or hospital would be routinely carried out. This ensures that there is collaboration with all health care professionals, the family and the client, and that there is an understanding of the role of the caregivers, the family and allied professionals. For prospective clients living overseas (regionally and internationally), a detailed medical report and the completion of a health questionnaire will be required prior to admission. This will allow for effective care planning of the client’s needs.
