The Original Virgin Canopy Tour is the newest eco-adventure attraction in Tortola. Similar to a zipline, but much safer and quieter, the Original Canopy Tour will provide you with all the thrills and adrenaline you are looking for but is also an ecotour and fun for all members of the family and even experienced zipline riders will find this tour something that can’t be missed.

The tour is located in the mountains overlooking Road Town above Johnson’s Ghut and consists of 7 amazing traverses or zips and the most spectacular views anywhere.

Following a brief orientation and safety talk on how to use the equipment you will arrive at the take-off point of the tour. From here you will enjoy spectacular views of the islands while sailing through and over the rainforest canopy. The tour has been expertly designed for adventurers of all ages (from 5 to 95) and every stop along the way provides you with an amazing “I Can’t Believe I Just Did That” photo opportunity. The Original Virgin Canopy Tour, including the outfitting and safety talk and the 7 traverse lines and 2 challenge components, will take approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours, depending on group size and other factors. The tour, part of The Original Canopy Tour organization, was designed by world renowned designer Darren Hreniuk, who pioneered the first canopy tour ziplines in Costa Rica in the 1990’s and has since built 30 tours in more than 10 countries. This is an absolute “must do” experience even if you have already done ziplining before. The designers’ US patented SKYLINE© safety system is much safer and quieter than outmoded “WIRE” zipline systems.

Following the tour you can relax and take in the million dollar view from the patio Special Note, guests must be able to climb up a 2 story ladder as part of the tour (you will be tied to the entire way).
