Warehouse Attendant

Location: Village Plaza, Kingston

Main Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, including verifying quantities and checking for damages.
• Package transportation (incoming and outgoing).
• Unload and sort incoming goods using appropriate handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update the warehouse management system.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Organize and store goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
• Ensure all items are stored safely and securely, following proper storage procedures.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with company policies related to warehouse operations.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Warehouse Manager immediately.

Requirements

• Minimum four (3) CSEC/CXC subjects, including English.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment and general safety training would be an asset.
• Excellent communication skills.
