SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR

Location: Kingston

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the unloading of containers and coordinate their timely return from the warehouse.
• Request checks for tax payments and supplier payments.
• Send, receive and follow up on documentation made by Brokers.
• Prepare monthly statistics of the services offered.
• Prepare letters, applications and permits required by customs.
• Responsible for creation of Job Orders and data entry in Ops log / Cargo wise.
• Monitor logistics operations and ensure efficient cargo movement.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business or related careers.
• 1–2 years in similar positions.
• Knowledge of the logistics business, maritime cargo and customs.
• Knowledge of the logistics business, maritime cargo and customs tariffs.
• Ability to prepare reports and/or metrics.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours when required.
