Full job description

SALES & MARKETING OFFICER

A medium-sized food processing company in central Jamaica is seeking to fill the post of Sales & Marketing Officer and invites applications from individuals who are suitably qualified.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of customers via the telephone and other digital channels.
  • Lead and coordinate off-site marketing events and promotions.
  • Assist the Sales and Marketing manager with administrative duties and data analysis.
  • Handle customer complaints and service issues.
  • Assist with the design and execution of social media initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing or Management Studies or similar business studies.
  • At least one year’s experience in sales and marketing. Experience in tele-sales, tele-marketing or social media marketing will be valuable.
  • Potential to advance to management roles.
  • Experience in the food or other Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry is an asset.
  • Being resident in Clarendon, St. Catherine or the Corporate area will be an advantage.
