TRADE EXCELLENCE TEAM LEAD

Lead trade execution, build strong customer partnerships and drive the growth of our brands.

The Trade Excellence Team Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating trade execution activities across our portfolio, ensuring on-shelf availability, effective in-trade execution and the achievement of brand and sales targets.

You will manage and develop the trade team, partner cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising and Brand Management, and work with customers and suppliers to unlock growth opportunities in all retail environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop the trade team to ensure flawless execution of trade plans.
• Drive on-shelf availability, new product distribution and effective in-trade execution.
• Set and monitor brand targets and budgets.
• Analyse sales and market trends to identify opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with trade customers to execute promotions, displays and joint business plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and identify new sales opportunities.
• Coordinate trade activities, including secondary displays, signage, planograms and special projects.
• Monitor and manage trade expenses, incentives and supplier activities.
• Provide regular sales reports and insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising and Brand Management teams.
• Ensure compliance with CSMS, QHSE and BCMS policies and practices.
• Assist in other areas of work as required to support Company activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Customer focused.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with little or no supervision.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to turn data into sound business decisions.
• Must own a reliable working vehicle and cell phone.
• Valid Driver’s Permit.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5–7 years of brand management, trade marketing or related experience in a similar industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of marketing principles and practices.
• Proven leadership ability in motivating and guiding team members.
• FMCG experience will be considered an asset.

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of GUI SX Enterprise.
