Kitchen Assistant – MMBS, Kingston

Manpower & Maintenance Business Services Limited (MMBS) is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant in Kingston.

Key duties

• Prepare and cook fried menu items.
• Make wraps, pizzas, burgers, salads, quesadillas and more.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain food quality and portion control.
• Stock ingredients and supplies.
• Keep the work area clean and organised.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Support timely order preparation.

Requirements

• Valid Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• HEART Trust NTA Level 1 is an asset.
• Previous kitchen experience, preferably in fast food.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Good time-management skills.
• Flexible and willing to work various shifts.
