INDUSTRIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Location: Manchester, Jamaica
A Food Manufacturing Firm in Manchester is seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Service Technician to join its Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment installation
- Preventive maintenance
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Servicing and repairing production machinery
- Maintaining supporting facility equipment
- Responding effectively to equipment breakdowns
- Helping to minimize production downtime
- Maintaining safe and efficient equipment operations
Requirements
- Technical qualification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years’ practical industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Ability to diagnose and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and workplace safety practices would be beneficial
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious and capable of working independently and as part of a team
