WE ARE HIRING – MORTICIAN

Location: Montego Bay

Some Areas of Responsibility

• Perform embalming procedures, including preserving the deceased in accordance with professional standards.
• Conduct cosmetic and restorative treatments and dress the deceased to ensure a respectful and dignified presentation for viewing and funeral services.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Provide compassionate and dignified support to grieving families.
• Liaise with funeral directors to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited embalming programme and a valid embalming licence.
• A minimum of one year’s experience in a mortuary, healthcare or funeral services environment.
• Knowledge of standard embalming procedures, funeral services, local laws and regulations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to maintain accurate records and interact with families.
• Ability to manage high-pressure and emotionally sensitive situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
