CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)

Tropical Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Co Ltd is hiring a suitable candidate to fill the position of Chief Operating Officer. The COO will be focused on executing the company’s strategy and overseeing day-to-day operations.

Role Overview

The COO is responsible for leading the company’s daily operations and ensuring all departments work efficiently to achieve business goals. He/She will manage operational performance while working closely with the CEO to execute the company’s growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
• MBA in business and/or finance is an advantage
• HVAC knowledge is a plus
• Minimum 5 years in senior operations or executive leadership

Work Environment

This role is office-based leadership with regular employee meetings and operational reviews. The COO should be prepared to respond to high-priority operational issues during peak seasons while maintaining a focus on long-term strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all operational departments.
• Improve operational efficiency through process optimization and performance tracking.
• Translate the company’s vision into operational plans and measurable objectives.
• Drive operational initiatives that improve profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion, automation, and service improvements.
• Manage operational budgets and ensure cost-effective use of company resources.
• Collaborate with finance to improve margins and reduce operational waste.
• Support business development initiatives by improving service capabilities and operational capacity.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and retain high-performing employees.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
