Chief Accountant

An accounting firm in Kingston is seeking a qualified and experienced Chief Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the firm’s financial operations
• Manage and supervise daily accounting activities
• Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team
• Ensure compliance with established accounting standards
• Prepare clients’ financial statements within agreed timelines
• Manage the payroll process

Requirements

• Currently pursuing ACCA Level III or a master’s degree with a major in Accounting
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role within an accounting environment
• Minimum of seven years’ experience in the accounting field
• Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices
