The Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ), an agency of the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce, is seeking to identify suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Senior QEMS Officer (Level 8)

Division: Quality and Environmental Management Systems Salary Range: J$5,457,937 – J$7,340,318

Job Summary

The Senior Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QEMS) Officer is responsible for providing support for the implementation of the BSJ’s Quality, Environmental and laboratory Management Systems. The incumbent aims to provide assistance in ensuring that the services provided by the BSJ meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations as well as conformance to international standards for quality while minimizing damage to the environment.

Minimum Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science or equivalent
• Lead Auditor/Auditor certification in EMS and QMS auditing
