Bicarie Brothers Investment Ltd. is recruiting a reliable and motivated Accounting Clerk in Montego Bay to support accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other financial documents.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
• File and organize financial documents.
• Assist with payroll preparation and statutory deductions where required.
• Support financial reports and month-end records.
• Perform assigned administrative and accounting duties.

Qualifications and requirements

• At least five CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and English Language.
• A certificate or diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration or a related field would be an asset.
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and numerical ability.
• Organizational, communication and time-management skills.
• Integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
