ABOUKIR HIGH SCHOOL
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of:
PRINCIPAL
Effective January 1, 2027
Minimum Requirements
- Applicant must be a registered trained teacher.
- Applicant must have at least three (3) years of approved teaching service.
Desirable Assets
- Strong and balanced leadership acumen.
- Postgraduate degree in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, or a related field.
- Certification for Principalship from the National College for Educational Leadership (NCEL).
- Knowledge of the Education Act and Regulations, Financial Administration and Audit Act, and the Child Care and Protection Act.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar capacity or in a senior leadership position.
- Strong Management and Human Resource Skills.
- Knowledge and experience in ICT and Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
- Experience in curriculum development, adaptation and implementation.
- Ability to articulate a vision of achieving and maintaining academic excellence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and creative skillset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and lead team members at various levels.
Compensation
Grade II: $7,344,688 to $9,401,821
