About Nurses Association of Jamaica – NAJ
NAJ advances nursing, nurses and health through its policies, partnerships, advocacy, leadership development, networks, congresses and special projects. NAJ has identified three key programmes areas as crucial to the betterment of nursing and health. These are known as NAJ’s Pillars and they are: Professional Practice, Regulation, and Socio-Economic Welfare. The association’s activities are focused in these areas.

- Provide leadership and advocacy for nurses and consumers of health care.
- Improve human resources in health especially across the nursing profession.

Mission
The Nurses Association of Jamaica seeks to develop a vibrant and supportive organization promoting nurses’ special contribution to the Jamaican population and the respect for quality of life.
The Association speaks to the health needs of people and the value of nursing and nurses in meeting those needs as well as the welfare of nurses.
Vision
The Nurses Association of Jamaica will continue to lead and transform the Caribbean in new nursing innovations and provide competitive, cutting edge nursing services globally.
