In keeping with its developmental plans, University of the West Indies (UWI), recognizing the need for multifunctional space that will address meeting, training and conference requirements   for large   groups, has created at The Mona Visitors’ Lodge & Conference Centre ‘The Lodge’: a state-of-the-art banquets, conference and hotel facility.

 In over 2000 sq. ft. of space, this facility offers luxurious accommodation for workshops and seminars equipped with audiovisual and multilevel-sound systems, along with high speed Internet connectivity.

 Our elegant interiors provide venues for weddings, banquets, formal dining and other special receptions in the Blue Reception and Gold Banqueting Halls,  Old Still House Ruins. and Gardens. Fourteen (14) beautifully-furnished hotel rooms are available with full internet access and other features for the convenience of our guests. We invite you to pamper yourselves in our two mahogany suites that boast hardwood floors, king sized canopied beds, rich elegant décor, refrigerator, and coffee/tea service for your enjoyment. You may wish to enjoy a more romantic atmosphere in the Lodge’s “Honeymoon” suite that will envelop you in luxury, whether you are newly-wed or just opting for a special sybaritic treat.

The Lodge is a jewel among the historic ruins of the Mona Campus and provides the perfect setting for those who demand the ultimate synthesis of elegance and rusticity for their working or social experience.
