It was the ultimate objective and dream of Ms. Juliet Miller (Registered Pharmacist) to be able to provide vital and essential pharmaceutical services to her island home. Hence the birth of MJD Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. In March 1992. Much thought and planning went into the nature and the extent of service she intended to supply.

The name MJD came into being by the incorporating of two names
Ms. Miller and her daughter Jheanelle Duhaney.

Our humble beginnings started at 2A Grants Pen Road, Kingston 8. However, after two years, the decision was taken to relocate to 91 Dumbarton Avenue, where we operated for thirteen years. We have since moved to our present location and home at 64 Molynes Road where we now operate out of a 6,000 sq. ft. Building housing both office space and warehouse facilities.

The company offers a wide range of pharmaceutical and home & health care products and prides itself with our main offering of competitive Over the Counter (OTC) drugs. At present, we distribute over two thousand (2,000) products all across Jamaica, which include medical products, vitamins & minerals, antibiotic ointments, cold preparations, analgesics and disability products to name a few.

In 1999 a partnership was formed with GlaxoSmithKline Caribbean Ltd, to distribute their line of vaccines to doctors across the island. Since then, this partnership has blossomed into a fruitful and profitable relationship which we are very proud of today.

Our flagship brands are Nature’s Bounty, Disney, Carex, Apex, Drive & Premier Value.

Our aim is to be as our motto hails, COMMITTED TO EXCELLENT SERVICE and as such we are committed to providing the highest quality service to ensure the satisfaction of all our valued customers’ island wide. Through this commitment, we are constantly driven to seek out new products and make them available on the Jamaican market.
