The Company was formed on April 28, 1964, as the Boiler Construction and Repair Company Limited. The name was changed in January of 1974 to the more concise and familiar, Boilerco (Jamaica) Limited. Since 1964, Boilerco has been a pioneer in the field of engineering service and supplies, specializing in the sales, installation, maintenance, and repairs of steam/hot water boilers. The Company also designs, constructs, maintains, retails, and repairs industrial incinerators. In addition, Boilerco insulates steam pipes and pressure vessels, and distributes many industrial engineering products which relate to boilers, incinerators, and associated equipment.

Boilerco (Jamaica) Limited is the sole authorized distributor of Plibrico Refractories and Inciner8 Incinerators in Jamaica. Boilerco also is the Island’s largest supplier of Industrial / Commercial / Residential Insulation products, distributing for Industrial Insulation Group and Owen’s Corning’s Industrial Insulations. Boilerco also distributes for Hurst Boilers, Honeywell, and many others and mainly serves the island’s power generation, sugar, bauxite, hotel, and petroleum industries.
