This gallery set in a garden in Montego Bay features the works of Ras Natango (mostly watercolor and acrylic) and other artists. Visitors can also find craft gift items and enjoy bird watching. The Gallery is open Monday – Friday 10 am to 6 pm and weekends by appointment
Ahhh… Ras Natango Gallery and Garden Tour
Ras is self-taught. He reads extensively and prefers to work in acrylics. His paintings in the hotels are mainly of tropical flora. His art is now in every RIU Hotel on the island, and in private collections in over 17 countries of the world.
Ayale: Ayale is a graphic artist in addition to being a fine artist. he is a graduate of the art institute of ft Lauderdale where he studied graphic desktop design.
Our gift shop is named Ahhh…Treasures because of the unique items found in it. Many of our visitors who come early in the year purchase items for Christmas gifts months ahead. It’s more than a gift shop, it’s a continuation of the gallery with artistic gift items. Hand-painted cushion covers, hand painted bags, hats, paperweights, and many more items. Ayale’s addition to the gift shop is his assemblage of seashells collected on the beach to make one-of-a-kind sea creatures. There is some treasure for everyone to discover.
SHUTTLE SERVICE: Shuttle service to Ahhh…Rasnatango can be arranged by Tamika for guests from Cruise Port and hotels in around Montego Bay – Cost: US$25 per person. Guests from Royalton White Sands Hotel, Falmouth Cruise Port And Grand Palladium Hotel in Lucea pays US$30 per person.
