Sunshine Finance is the wholly owned subsidiary of Sunshine Holdings Ltd; the corporate vehicle of the All-Bahamian “Sunshine Boys”.

In 2005, the doors of Sunshine Finance opened quietly as a private lender assisting the clients of Arawak Homes, the country’s largest home developer. Just under a decade later, Sunshine Finance has granted loans to, and consolidated loans for, thousands of persons and, recognizing the broader public need for financial assistance, is making its loan and loan consolidation products available to all.

Sunshine Finance offers a comprehensive suite of loan products with loans starting as low as $500.

 Descending from Ross Corner, the Sunshine Boys began their journey over forty (40) years ago seeking to prove that “Bahamians of humble origins could work together to own and operate big business”. It is no coincidence that their journey for economic empowerment started in the same year our Country began its sovereign political journey in 1973.  The then young boys were feeding off of the infectious movement of change and growth which then enveloped our beloved Bahamas and they were convinced, then as they are now, that sustainable national development would and will only happen with a robust private sector, largely owned and operated by Bahamians, gainfully employing Bahamians and Bahamian residents.

Over the course of their journey, the Sunshine Boys developed many businesses including the Twin Theatre in 1973, Arawak Homes in 1983 and Sunshine Insurance shortly thereafter.
