Position Overview
Home & Things is looking for a trustworthy and detail-oriented Cashier to process purchases and provide a smooth checkout experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify customer payments, quotations and receipts accurately.
- Balance the till, complete payment records and report discrepancies.
- Coordinate delivery, transfer and goods-on-hold details with the relevant teams.
- Follow approved payment, discount and returns procedures and provide courteous checkout service.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Four CSEC subjects or equivalent, including Mathematics, and secondary-school education or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or retail experience.
- Numerical accuracy, basic computer skills, honesty and good customer service.
- Availability for the approved retail work schedule.
