Integrity Medical Services Limited – Hargreaves is recruiting porters in Mandeville, Manchester, to support the safe movement of patients and hospital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients between wards, departments and treatment areas.
• Assist with moving wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, medical equipment and other hospital items.
• Support clinical and other staff with safely moving and positioning patients when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of assigned equipment.
• Respond promptly to requests for porter services.
• Provide courteous and respectful assistance to patients, visitors and staff.
• Separate and dispose of hazardous waste properly.

Requirements

• Minimum secondary-level education.
• Physically able to safely lift, push, pull and move patients and equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual and able to follow instructions.
• Available to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Previous experience in a hospital, healthcare or similar environment would be an asset.
• Must live in or around the Mandeville area.
