The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs (MJCA) is seeking to recruit suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions:

Quantity Surveyor (SOG/ST 5) — Vacant

Division: Project Management and Technical Services Division, Technical Services Branch

Starting Salary: J$3,501,526 per annum

Job Purpose

The Quantity Surveyor, under the guidance of the Director, Technical Services, provides quantity surveying support for construction contracts, administers and appraises payments to ensure compliance, and manages pre- and post-contract financial services for building and civil works.

The role also involves planning and implementing projects within the unit’s portfolio in line with established procedures and guidelines.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Three (3) years’ job experience as a Quantity Surveyor or construction-related engagement on new and refurbished buildings.
