REQUIRES THE SERVICES OF A

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Job Summary:

The incumbent will have responsibility to manage the financial operations of the St. Ann Development Company (SADCo). The key functions include ensuring effective budgetary control and compliance with Procurement and Financial Policies and Procedures as stipulated by the Government of Jamaica.

The ideal candidate should have:

Specific Knowledge, Qualification and Experience

• A Master’s of Science Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification from an accredited institution
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in financial accounting at a senior level in a medium or large organization
• Experience in design, development and implementation of management and control systems
• Expert knowledge of financial and management accounting systems, policies and procedures
• Sound knowledge of inventory management procedures
• Sound knowledge of administrative practices and techniques
• Sound knowledge of relevant computer applications and accounting software including Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft

• Well-developed management and human relations skills
• Sound administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze financial statements and management reports
• Well-developed critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to work with a dynamic team
• Sound leadership skills
