Applications are invited for the post of Graphic Artist, Marketing and Communications Unit, Jamaica at The UWI Global Campus. The Graphic Artist will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-impact visual communications that support the Global Campus’ marketing and communications, recruitment, and promotional initiatives.

The successful candidate must possess an Associate Degree, Diploma or a professional certification in one of the following disciplines: visual design, graphic arts, illustration, fine arts, or a related discipline. At least two (2) years of relevant experience in graphic design, including the layout and design of print and digital communications.

Duties and responsibilities: Collaborate with members of the Marketing and Communications team to develop creative concepts and visual materials that support institutional campaigns and initiatives. Create visual content for marketing campaigns, advertisements, publications, social media, websites, events, and other promotional activities. Design and produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, layouts, and other visual design elements using appropriate software for print and digital communications. Ensure all creative materials adhere to The UWI Brand Guidelines and visual identity standards. Prepare final artwork for digital publication and print production, ensuring accuracy, quality, and appropriate formatting. Collaborate with Videographer/Multimedia Specialist to develop integrated visual and multimedia assets for institutional communications. Maintain an organised filing system of design files, templates, and visual assets. Undertake any other related duties that may be assigned by the Marketing and Communications Manager or designated person.

SALARY RANGE
JMD $2,146,959.00 – JMD $2,756,007.00 per annum.
