FARM HAND
Piggery Unit – St. Catherine (Sligoville)

Join our team and be part of a modern, developing 200 sow and weaner operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide sanitation and washing of stalls, farrowing units and upkeep of facility.
• Feed animals and administer medication as required.
• Work in collaboration with the farm supervisor to ensure animal welfare.
• Learn and be trained in modern piggery practices such as semen harvesting and AI.
• Assist with the recording of animal performance and daily farm activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including equipment cleaning and maintenance and help with animal handling.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in piggery.
• Graduate of an Agricultural School, e.g. Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture, Animal Science or related field.
• Physically fit, reliable and hardworking.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
