DELIVERY DRIVER (VAN/TRUCK DRIVER)

The Captain’s Bakery Limited is seeking reliable, hardworking, and motivated individuals to join our team at our Cross Roads location.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vans and trucks to deliver goods on schedule.
• Load and unload goods carefully and accurately.
• Ensure all deliveries are properly checked, documented, and signed off.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at each delivery.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and promptly report any mechanical or operational issues.
• Follow company policies, road safety regulations, and established delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence with the appropriate category/class for operating trucks.
• Proven experience as a truck or delivery driver.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills for completing delivery records and paperwork.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Physically fit and capable of safely handling goods.
• Must be available to work Sundays and Public Holidays as assigned.
