SENIOR LIBRARY TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the day-to-day operations of the library.
• Provide reference and information services to users.
• Assist in cataloguing, classification and processing of library materials.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper shelving and organization of library resources.
• Support library programmes, activities and user education.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Association Degree in Library and Information Studies or equivalent.
• Three (3) years’ experience in a library setting.
• Proficiency in the use of library management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
