for the Tourism & Travel Industry

One of Jamaica’s premier travel and destination management companies seeks to identify qualified and experienced Travel and Tour Advisors, preferably with a high track record in sales, to join its team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promotes and sells the Company’s travel and tour products/services
• Provides expert advice and personalised service to clients based on knowledge of the industry locally and overseas
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Attends trade-related events, conferences, expos, and any other event as deemed necessary

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• A strong passion for sales and customer service
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• A proactive, self-motivated, “go-getter” attitude
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Confidence using technology and digital platforms
• Knowledge of Jamaica’s tourism industry and international travel products

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in any of the following areas will be considered an asset:

• Cruise, Tours Travel & Hotel sales
• Group sales management
• Resort Weddings
• Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Events (MICE)
• Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism and Travel

Relevant training will be provided.
