Chief Accountant
An accounting firm in Kingston is seeking a qualified and experienced Chief Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the firm’s financial operations
- Manage and supervise daily accounting activities
- Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team
- Ensure compliance with established accounting standards
- Prepare clients’ financial statements within agreed timelines
- Manage the payroll process
Requirements
- Currently pursuing ACCA Level III or a master’s degree with a major in Accounting
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role within an accounting environment
- Minimum of seven years’ experience in the accounting field
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices
