The Board of Management and Administration of Brown’s Town Community College are seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Lecturer Vacancies

• Business Lecturer specialising in Finance — Full-time, clear vacancy
• Business Lecturer in General Management — Full-time, clear vacancy
• Business Lecturer — Part-time, contracted
• Culinary/Hospitality Lecturer — Full-time, clear vacancy
• Culinary/Hospitality Lecturer — Acting position for eight months, from September 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027
• Social Work Lecturer — Full-time, clear vacancy

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in the relevant subject area from an institution recognized by the Government of Jamaica.
• Teacher-training certification from an institution recognized by the Government of Jamaica.
• At least five years of teaching experience.

Additional Advantages

• Ability to conduct and publish research.
• Proven record of teaching in higher education; recent graduates will also be considered.
• Membership in a professional organization.
• Knowledge of the Education Act (1980) and Staff Orders for the Public Service.
• Experience using instructional technology and teaching online courses.
