Sharon East-Miles is the Occupational Health Consultant at the University Hospital of the West Indies. I am interested in research in the field of occupational health and particularly related to occupational hazards and health risks in healthcare workers. I am currently laying the foundation for the first Occupational Health service at this hospital. l have not yet started research. I have a personal interest in ergonomics, manual and patient handling.
